On a warm September afternoon, this trip started as a NYC Transit Museum Tour of the A Line's Jamaica Bay extension to Rockaway Park & Far Rockaway. Pictures of the South Channel Bridge, Broad Channel Station, as well as the Rockaways.
Being such a nice day, once the tour was done we again found ourselves on a Brighton Line Q Train headed for Coney Island to get a hot dog, and take in some warm evening beach atmosphere.
